About the Illustrator
With vibrant jewel-tone colours and whimsical landscapes, Beth Coulas' paintings take you to a place of childlike innocence and simple pleasures. A fine arts graduate, Beth has spent more than two decades perfecting her passion and creating a captivating free-flowing style that is unique to her brush.
Her dye-on-silk paintings are highly sought after by appreciative individuals and corporations worldwide. Her unique style and stunning use of color are what first drew author Jan Batiuk to Beth's work, eventually leading to her astounding contributions to Life is a Song Waiting to be Released
. Beth was also the illustrator for the Northern Alberta Children's Festival's 25th anniversary commemorative materials, and she has been profiled in Galleries West magazine. Her work has been chosen to represent national and charitable organizations.

About the Musician
Marston Smith performs worldwide on a unique six-stringed electric cello of his own design mounted on Medieval battle armour. His music is the embodiment of epic romanticism. Internationally renowned, Marston has performed for blockbuster movie soundtracks such as Out of Africa
and An Officer and a Gentleman
, made numerous appearances with the Tonight Show and Cirque du Soleil, and has recorded with the Back Street Boys, KISS, Barry Manilow, and Rod Stewart, to name a few. Marston's eclectic career has seen him perform for everyone from Warner Brothers, Disney, and Fox to large scale corporate appearances, to Presidents and the public alike.
